Hi Mark
Love your blog and all the blog rolls. Ah, is that what they are for...! Webber is very thick with meaning and liturgy, I agree. I am holding the balance too between loving the freedom of my preferred church worship and bringing lightly and sensitively the depth of historical understanding and tradition.
Cheerio and blessings, Cherie

good word. although I've been out of the whole contemp worship charismatica etc.. type of loop. Admittedly although I do miss those environments of corporate, open worship, I am in the most peaceful place I've been outside the church walls and just walking my journey out with the Father in the muck and mire of life. Outside the realm of constant prophetic words and deep spiritual philosophical reasons and ponderings and so on and in the dirty messy nitty gritty of the application process of all that I have come to know and experience in the past. It has streteched my faith beyond where I thought it could go, leaving me in tears sometimes as I give up more and more of what I think is righteous and holy and Godly and I accept all that is beautifully disgusting. Not that any of that is outside of the realm of God but I am walking through such a tangible time after years of the intangible. I find myself outside the Matrix and it's ugly and can't believe this is the reality right now but I know it's leading me somewhere. I've been broken. Not like a glass or a reed or something rather romantic like Kiss The Son, but like a container filled with a bunch of junk. Some coins, some paper clips, some buttons, an electrical plug, a drum key, a screw driver, etc...it's sorting out time and application time. All that is in me now has to be put to use or it just sits up there on a shelf waiting but always being bypassed for something easier to get to. I am moving from the country back to the city. It's where my heart is and although I love the quietness and serenity of the mountains, I guess I only needed to be here to heal a bit. I spent some time this week downtown and some establishments, meeting new people and seeing a variety of open doors in which I can insert me. It was so refreshing, rejuvenating and I felt a little like Tarzan - "these are my people" - LOL! That's where I'm at now.

[...] In addition to the e*b class, I am also taking a Rockbridge Seminary NT Survey class. As that class stepped through its text, Encountering the New Testament (1), the historical first century for the New Testament and then specifically for the Gospels, it was amazing how much both classes overlapped.
Are there any other resources for praying Matt 5? Any liturgy or ancient prayers? I am including the Matt 5 prayers in my normal prayer time but feel I need to break it out as a time unto its own.

It inspires me to know students who act upon what God is teaching them. I am picking up the books and love the idea of praying Matt. 5. Thanks.

Hey Mark,

I loved the chorus, the song just captured the Worship of all creation! Makes us just want to join in! I love the Revelation speech at the end, the music really brings out the beauty of the words. Thanks for a great piece. I hope we can sing it in heaven one day, year, millennium....some time!

Love You Bro Thanks Again!
