    Hi Everyone.

I’m a singer, songwriter, who has the wonderful privilege of singing with a really great Worship Team on a fairly frequent basis. I’ve been writing songs since I was nine years old. The first one I ever wrote was called, ”Peace and Love”. Figures a nine year old would want to write about those topics. I still remember some of the lyrics.

In the late eighties and early nineties, when I still used to play acoustic guitar (something I learned to do on my own… by ear) I wrote a lot of Worship Songs. I wrote one called, ”I’ve Journeyed Long” that GOD’S SPIRIT moved me to record at a much later date. The song still moves me.

I sing to THE LORD everyday, creating new strains and phrases of PRAISE and WORSHIP, as HIS SPIRIT Inspires. I see in the post below this one, someone was asking for a co-writer. Todd, if you don’t mind my giving you a suggestion: Go to GOD, HE WILL Gladly co-write a song with you… and it will be good too!

    BLESSINGS to you.

I am terrible at scoring music. Does anyone know of a computer program that I can link my keyboard into so it will score as I play. Sometimes I just sit at the piano and things just happen then if I try to play it again or figure out the score it’s gone. argh!

My favorite is Sibelius, but it is expensive (about $500). There are less expensive alternatives with varying levels of capability. Finale Allegro is about $150. I have used it, but don’t find it as user friendly as Sibelius. Logic Pro from Apple has scoring capability if you’re a Mac user, plus recording capability ($200). Again, if you’re a Mac user, I think that Garage Band has some basic scoring capability (so says my 14 year old daughter).

Thanks Bob. I’ll check out the Sibelius and the Finale Allegro. Just wrote another very short penitential song this evening to use for the Children church during Lent. It would be nice to have it scored :) Thanks again.
