@jltnjazz Like what you said in the last part of number three statement about being willing to do the work of the Lord. That is my pray that where God leads me I will follow and what he wants I will do. Thanks for that reminder

@plohrmann I like your paragraph about Jesus being God plan for redeeming his people. You did a great job getting your point across. Seems like you have a real heart for the lost. That is awesome.

@cynsings I like your way of expressing the Kingdom of God especially being taken up by the joy of the Holy Spirit. Nice ending According to the end of the Book we win. That is something to have joy in Amen.

God is the creator of the universe. He is the maker of something out of nothing. He is the father of all; the redeemer of our souls, savior. God is a God of story. God is King. God is Trinity – one being communal in and of himself. God is intimate interacts with each of [...]

Who is God? God is Creator. John 1:3 says: “Through Him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” God ultimately expresses Himself as king, part of the trinity, and savior in his creation. He placed human beings on earth to be sub-creators, reflecting His nature and serving as community [...]

When we rise up, when we go out, when we come in- our walk should be living worship. 1) God the Creator, God the Father, God the Friend. The 1 that never leaves us and always wants the best for us. Who are we but the children of God. Created to share in and enjoy [...]

@scottaylor Scott, I, too, like the way Dan Wilt summed this our primary mission, “tell the story of salvation.” It just makes everything sound so simple for when we get side tracked and off course from seeing things in others. When we would tend to pass judgement, become agitated, question what we see, want to [...]

@saracruzer “babies who are not picked up and nurtured suffer drastic health and emotional consequences” Sara this is a mouthful, and touches the core of my heart. What a picture to so clearly show how early this part of who we are is effective in our lives and to think that we grow to a [...]

To be fully human means to be a sub-creator of God, using things to create things. It means to be a reflector of God’s image to others – portraying love, stewardship, care. It means to be active in relationships/community reminding others of their God image and calling them up to that which God made them. [...]

Good posts and interactions, guys. Once again, I was moved by the ideas we are talking about related to what it means to be God’s, to be God’s creation, to be God’s ImageBearers, SubCreators, CommunityBuilders and SalvationStorytellers. To be a worshiper is getting very, very big. Such good comments, especially about relationships and creativity. Okay, [...]

@jltnjazz Great point at the end. We press toward the goal and through that may His Kingdom reigns in us. We are his vessels and as long as we are will, He will use us. May we seek to share these thoughts to those around us that they will to understand who they are made to [...]

@sarahcruzer It is crazy the effects not having relationships with each others has. As much as I love time to reflect and be alone. I am certainly thankful that I have nurturing relationships that all serve different spots in my life. The cool thing is when we can put our creativity and uniqueness together for His [...]

Creative Beings: humans are creating in the likeness of God, who is the ultimate Creator. In his image, every human, whether an artist or an accountant, creates. It is part of our nature to make, mold and move the elements around us. Relational Beings: As the trinity shows the ultimate dance of relationships, humans echo [...]

    1) To be a reflection of Him we must use our abilites to show his creation or the recreation of self through him. To best do that we must be the vessal He will flow though. Our work/offering will be His reflection. 2) We all have the desire to be part of “something”, to share. [...]

What does it mean to be a creative being? We learned last week that one of the four key aspects of God’s nature is that He is Creator. If we are to learn what it means to be fully human, we must understand that we were created in His image. This means that we are [...]
