I understand the aspect of creative expression in worship to God and also using the creativity that God has given us and sharing that with the world so that they can see His glory!
this puts somethings together for me.
i have thougth the different areas of music/art had to be separate.
I might be comfortable singing musical theater peice as the character from some play with complete expression of there character and then the next morning I am up infront of the congreation leading/singing passionately God’s praises. I have always hated the thought that the two were somehow disconnected never to be reconciled. Maybe it’s not that Artisans are a new thing. I don’t know… but mordern culture has definitly got these at opposing ends. I’m thinking they were never suppose to be.
