I can’t wait to see what the past will teach us.
The worship artisan must have leadership skills and who is also educated and incredibly gifted. This is a huge role, but if given the time and space could be very instrumental in creating a whole new way to worship by bringing back some historical worship and mixing it with current creations.
This was an excellent video! It is encouragement that it’s not just about getting up there and saying, “Okay, let’s turn to hymn number 212…. Everybody please stand!”

What a wonderful introduction to Worship leadership. All true leaders should be Artisans. You cannot go forward without knowing where you have been. God is a God of History– OUR history too. Let’s make history in His name.
The word integrity sticks out to me.
1. Integrity – in the quality of music we create
2. Integrity – in the way we treat and relate to our teams, congregatin and fellow staff memers
3. Integrity – in staying true to the scripture
4. Integrity – in our personal lives
An artist must use quality material (material of integrity, if you will) to produce a masterpiece. Likewise, and artisan must be a person of integrity in order to create a legacy that will stand the test of time and lead others into a deeper understanding of worship.

Romans 12:1 is awesome verse. As christians we are to be a reflection of Christ to give your bodies as a living sacrifice which is spirtitual worship is a reflection of Christ. Life is worship and to live your life out in worship who could ask for a more beautiful art then that

One of my favorite quotes ever. Being alive in God is a lifestyle of worship and it is not only a call for those who lead, but for all. This is what motivates me towards the spiritual formation of the church.

This is very interesting. I find in my church, that we are split down the middle for traditional and contemporary worship. I am in the process of diving into the Word, and teaching why it is vital to hold onto the past hymns, but also continue to bring Fresh new Biblical based worship songs into our worship services.

I love this term Worship Artisan. I have always instructed that worship is a life style. Unfortunately, we tend to just stop there. Worship Artisan encompasses so much more. Our life style ALIVE!
