I do appreciate that you pointed out the truth that God is not more glorified by our self-deprecation. I do agree with John the Baptist when he said, “He must increase, I must decrease”, and I agree that we are certainly a people whose only hope is in Him; but we must balance the “there is none good, not one” with the Psalm 139 of His love. As we lose our self-centeredness and increase our Christ-centeredness, we become more useful to Him.
