These are four great themes that we could hang our theologies on about God. Even hang songs on and see what areas we are not teaching through our song choices.
I especially liked the development of the cross and its meaning as not simply atonement (simply is not the best word here) but to show the redemptive power of grace in our lives now. We don’t just look back and thank God for the cross. We thank him for choosing to suffer and confess our needs for its redemptive work in our lives today.
