It’s most likely a case where most people agree just to agree, because they haven’t learned to listen and actually know the differences of bad sound vs good sound from each instrument.
once again I say, probably the most important piece of sound equipment is your ‘ear’. The only way to utilize this piece of equipment is to teach your ear what sounds good/right vs what sounds bad/wrong.
Good training course, I will utilize this to help educate not only our sound console people, but the Worship Leader. Nothing worst then having a trained ear, but you have a W. L. who doesn’t and they want to venture into your field and play w/what you know is a good mix. (Learn to communicate, be honest, and hold your ground in Love)
This video is a MUST WATCH for every sound tech out there. Worth 74 minutes of your time!
My favorite quote near the end: “I just gave you the freedom to turn the knobs.”
