Living an Elemental Life in your Journey of Spiritual Formation.
OVERVIEW:
There are two main facets that inspired me during the Essentials in Spiritual Formation course:Â 1) the analogy from Dan Wilt concerning spiritual transformation and the caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly; and 2) using visual elements of earth, wind, fire, and water concerning to live an elemental life in your journey of spiritual formation that is commissioned with God.
The outline of the PowerPoint is based on Dan Wilt’s eBook entitled “Essentials in Spiritual Formation – Cultivating Your Inner Life: spiritual formation, living in your element, and what are four elements of living an elemental life: earth, wind, fire, and water. Clipart is from Microsoft and Sharefaith.
This PowerPoint presentation can be used at off-line meetings for the encouragement of leaders and volunteers in the church community. Also, could be a starting place for weekly sermon series regarding they “Journey of Spiritual Formation – Who said it was going to be easy?” So, you will need a computer, PowerPoint software, and some type of projection system. You may also consider members to download the file to stream over the Internet for learning and future discussion opportunities.
