When looking back on my worship history, I always remember my first worship experience when I truly exalted God out of the overflow of my heart. To this day, I can still remember the overwhelming urge to sing at the top of my lungs out of joy, reverence, humility, and freedom to the One who paid my way.
While writing this song, I wanted something faster but not mushy and fake. I tend to try a little too hard to write deep theological songs, which are great but something I learned in essentials in worship values is that our worship songs need to connect.  This song is actually based off of the third degree of love which states that we love God for God’s sake. It goes on to state that He is worthy of our love, and that is our end goal. This song simply states how a new believer or a senior saint wants to or should worship, and that is with their entire life. I also wanted a high energy song that would connect with new believers coming in from the fast outside world.
Although I only recorded this song with my acoustic guitar, it would have greater affect with a full band. This is sort of my youth group song for a younger crowd. Please forgive that annoying echo feedback thing going on, I’m not sure what happened.

I like this Praise and Worship song. It will be well received by youth group or church fellowship. Keep writing!!!
Very nice! I really like that you wrote it uptempo. It gives it a “freshness” that would have been lost if you had played it at a slower rate.
